[CFF ’22] ‘One Road to Quartzsite’ Review — Doc asks for empathy

I’m someone who very easily empathizes with the subjects of films, to the point where I am often surprised when people are upset by a character who they think is “unlikable.” One Road to Quartzsite is a very empathetic film about a small town in Arizona that has a massive homeless population, a town that serves as a destination for people who live out of RVs. It’s a film that treats its subjects with dignity and respect, letting them tell their own stories to one another, allowing us to see a segment of humanity that’s been cast out and cast aside by society.
