CHATTANOOGA FILM FESTIVAL 2022 RECAP: FEATURES

I’m so grateful to have one more year in the books at CFF. And what a year it was! I blasted through so many impressive movies, but these are a few of my favorites from the 2022 festival.

LANDLOCKED (2018):
This was a fresh take on the home video genre, and it definitely worked for me. This film is all about revisiting the past, and how brutal that can be sometimes. Eerie, mysterious, and melancholic, I felt myself waiting for the other shoe to drop the whole time watching this. I wouldn’t label it as “horror”, but there was a shadowy scene that legitimately creeped me out so much that I made my partner go with me to take the dog outside that night. Hats off to the filmmakers for that one.
